OPEN POSITIONS:
Hot Wrap/Pizza Specialist
Our customers love our fresh yeasted dough wraps. We are seeking a person willing to learn our unique process of mixing and sheeting the dough and preparing the wraps and pizzas with fresh cut vegetables according to customer orders.
Sandwich/Salad Specialist
We serve fresh food fast; this means that all of our burgers, sandwiches, wraps and salads are made to order. We are seeking an agile person comfortable working in a fast paced environment to ensure that all of the food we serve is carefully prepared with the freshest ingredients. Responsibilities include organizing the fresh ingredients prior to opening and throughout the day, assembling the sandwiches and salads during meal service, and assisting the executive chef when necessary.
Bakery Apprentice
Part of the fresh taste of our food comes from the bread we make from scratch. We are seeking a person willing to learn the artistry of baking breads for our special burgers and sandwiches, and Italian rolls for our steak sandwiches as well as other baked goods to order or to sell at our farmer's market in the summer.
Culinary/Garden Apprentices
Cottagescapes, LLC., the parent company of Solar Drive-In, a restaurant/bakery/garden on the edge of the prairie in southwest Minnesota, is seeking entrepreneurial minded individuals who are passionate about food.
For the right person(s), there is an opportunity to take the sustainable restaurant concept to another location.
Qualifications desired:
Ability to work in a fast paced kitchen environment.
Willingness to learn about the care and harvesting of garden vegetables and creating daily specials based on what is available.
We are seeking one or two apprentices (can apply as a couple) to work full-time
Base pay with wage increase based on performance.
